Did you know?- Cotton Wicks are designed to curl as they burn. This is why it's so important for you to trim your wick 1/4 inch before each burn. This will help keep the flame at a proper level so the candle burns more evenly, last longer and prevent sooting and smoking.
When burning your candle for the first time, let the wax pool reach all sides before blowing out. This could take up to 2-3 hours. This will ensure that there isn't wax buildup and prevent the candle from tunneling the next time it's lit.
It's recommended to not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. If burned for longer than this, the flame could become too big, cause sooting, smoking and the glass jar could become too hot and and could possibly crack.
Never leave your candle burning unattended, by a draft or near pets or children.
Burn candles on an even, non-flammable surface. (A candle holder is recommended).
Enjoy your candle!
